Elizabeth Gillies

Gillies her acting career started at the age of 12, as she began going to open casting auditions in her local area. She quickly began appearing in commercials for companies such as Virgin Mobile. Gillies' first television role was as a recurring character during three segments from The Black Donnellys. Her parents refused to allow her to watch the whole program because they believed the show was not appropriate for her. The year 2008 was a busy one for her, she played small roles in the show The Clique, Harold, and Locker 514. In summer of that year she was also cast in the role of Lucy in a Goodspeed show of Robert Brown's brand new musical 13 along with her future Victorious co-star Ariana Grande. In the following year it was the year that the Broadway adaptation of 13 launched, and was the first Broadway production to have all cast members comprised of teenagers. Gillies was also given the major songs "Opportunity," "It Can't be True" along with smaller songs like "Hey Kendra,"" "Getting Ready" and many more. Gillies continued to be part of the project until its closure on January 4 in 2009.
